A shocking scene unfolded at Lane Stadium today as a skydiver became tangled and was left hanging from the jumbotron ahead of the Virginia Tech Spring Football Game.

Witnesses say the skydiver was part of a planned pregame performance but ended up hanging for over 20–30 minutes, bringing everything to a halt.
Emergency crews, including Blacksburg Ladder 12, responded quickly, using an aerial ladder to safely bring the individual down.
The game was delayed while crews worked the scene. There’s no official word yet on the skydiver’s condition.
This could’ve ended much worse — strong response by first responders during a dangerous situation.
