Several people enjoying outdoor Easter Sunday festivities were startled when they walked in the the path of what can only be described as BIGFOOT, that’s right a Sasquatch wandering the outskirts of a Vinton VA neighborhood called Montgomery Village! The suspected cryptid was casually seen walking in the woods that border the subdivision and the Blueridge Parkway, not far from the Roanoke Dam!
The family decided to take a walk in the woods for fun and saw a large harry creature walking on two legs! At first they thought maybe it was a bear standing up, but when the creature continued to keep walking they knew they were witnessing a paranormal event. Luckily the family (*who wish to remain anonymous) had their cell phone camera at the ready and grabbed some very convincing photographs of the creature.

The name comes from Salish se’sxac, meaning “wild men.” Sasquatch is also known as Bigfoot, and it appears to represent the North American counterpart of the Himalayan region’s mythical monster, the Abominable Snowman, or Yeti.
Sasquatch is normally described as a bipedal primate that is anywhere from 6 to 15 feet (2 to 4.5 metres) tall. It is often said to give off a foul smell and either moves silently or emits a high-pitched cry. Alleged Sasquatch footprints have measured up to 24 inches (about 60 cm) long.
